Mt Romance boiler burns blue gum wood chips to produce sustainable sandalwood oil products

Mt Romance (Sandalwood Factory) in Albany, Western Australia, collects waste wood products daily from nearby plantations to fuel their biomass boiler.  The 6 MW boiler burns 2 tonnes of wood chips every hour, providing steam for the production of sandalwood oil products.  The video was produced as a training resource for students at the Australian National University (ANU).  In the video, Johan Bartlett, Production Manager, explains how blue-gum wood chips power the large boiler at his factory:
