EU Annual Biofuels Report 2014 Highlights dwindling biofuels use BUT surging biomass demand, Mon 18, Aug 2014

The European domestic market for biofuels is dwindling. Lower fuel use, adjusted biofuels blending mandates and double counting towards these mandates have reduced demand since 2011. ABARES Report confirms decline in the number of AU Sawmills, Tue 19, Aug 2014

Newspoll finds 95% think renewables 'a good idea', Tue 19, Aug 2014

A Newspoll published in The Australian today finds 95 per cent of Australians believe that renewable energy is 'a good idea' with only 2% believing it is not. The survey found that 62% of people thought it was a good idea as long as they didn't have to pay any more for their electricity, while 31% were prepared to pay more to support renewables development.

NSW Minster Announces Community Energy Grants, Mon 03, Nov 2014

The Hon. (Rob) Robert Stokes MP, Minister for the Environment (NSW) has announced the $700,000 Growing Community Energy grants program. Growing Community Energy will fund early stage development of community energy projects, to help create viable community-owned business models that can attract further investment.
